Reformatting from Mac to PC - Step 1

Open iTunes on your PC and connect the device using the USB cord.

Step 2

You will see the following Windows pop up: "You need to format the disk in drive E: before you can use it." Select "Format disk”.

Step 3

Select "Start" on the Format Removable Disk (E:) window.

Step 4

A new window will pop-up to confirm formatting the device. Select "OK"

Step 5

Select "OK" when format is complete.

Step 6

Now the device needs to be restored. Click "Restore".

Step 7

Wait until the device is restored. The device will show the Apple symbol while restoring.

Step 8

Your device is now formatted and restored for use on your PC!
